Policy on plagiarism and self-plagiats

The Recent in Engineering Science and Technology does not publish material that contains plagiarism or self-plagiarism (duplication). Each manuscript is checked for plagiarism or self-plagiarism by the Turnitin software service after it is sent to the editor.

Each confirmed case undergoes additional analysis to confirm the presence of facts of proper attribution by the authors of the manuscript. The manuscript will be rejected without review if it is found that the source is not credited (plagiarism). If self-plagiarism is found, the manuscript will be rejected and the author will be notified that the manuscript is not unique enough. If plagiarism is found after an article's publication, all descriptive resources will label the article as "PLAGIARISM" or "DUPLICATE" without removing the article from the journal archive where the same label is used. In this case, the editor of the journal imposes contractual penalties to the extent of the material and immaterial damages suffered by the licensee according to the license agreement between the licensor (author) and the licensee (publisher). Rights reserved.
